Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott filed a lawsuit in Collin County, Texas, and alleged a woman attempted to extort $100 million from him.
Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News relayed Monday that Prescott's lawsuit accused a woman of making a false sexual-assault allegation against him stemming from a 2017 incident.
Prescott's lawyer, Levi McCathern, released a statement:
"Mr. Prescott—a new father to a baby girl—has great empathy for survivors of sexual assault. He fervently believes that all perpetrators of such crimes should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
